WELCOME
Hello! I'm Andrea (she/her) and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. My specialties include: Anxiety, Child/Teen Mental Mealth, Complex Trauma, Perinatal/Parenting challenges, Highly Sensitive People, and Life Transitions. I work with those seeking relief from difficult symptoms and experiences, along with those seeking to cultivate more meaning and depth of presence in their lives. I use a variety of brain-body healing methods to meet you where you are in your journey. My services are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and non-pathologizing. I am neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY FOR ADULTS
Life can feel heavy. Layers of stress accumulate in our bodies over time, making daily tasks start to feel impossible. Many of my clients show up in the world with a brave face, but struggle internally with feelings of unworthiness and shame. Trauma can stem from many sources: childhood abuse/neglect, social inequities, discrimination, inhumane systems, or simply trying to survive in a world that wasn't set up to support you. Therapy cannot solve or fix many of these problems, but can offer a profound opportunity to move through pain and access new reserves of resilience. It's my hope to help facilitate your progress towards more joy, fulfillment and peace. You have the answers within you already, and my goal is to help guide you to them.
CHILD & TEEN THERAPY
I work with kids and teens (ages 10 to 18) to help them understand and manage their difficult emotions. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to process experiences and develop a coping toolkit. I have experience supporting with challenges such as anxiety, depression, identity formation, academic stress, trauma, and low self-esteem. At an age where kids/teens are often ready to deepen their sense of independence, I offer choices and flexibility about how our work together will look. Therapy allows kids and teens a space to be seen and accepted by someone outside their day-to-day life, often leading to more self-confidence and an overall sense of balance. I'd love to partner with you (Caregiver/Parent) in helping your child or teen develop skills and capacities that will support them now and long into the future.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
