Policies and Fees

Business Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am-3pm (with occasional options for evening sessions)

Frequency:

Weekly or biweekly sessions are the norm. I typically offer monthly or "as needed" sessions to clients who I have worked with for some time and who are ready to reduce frequency. I am happy to work with folks who have varying scheduling needs, and can accommodate those who cannot commit to the same time slot each week.

Investment:

The fee for a 50 minute session is $170.

Paying privately for your mental healthcare allows for greater flexibility and confidentiality in your care. I can provide a superbill upon request. In some cases, it may be possible to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company. This is referred to as "out of network coverage" and can vary depending on your plan. It is advised that you contact your insurance company directly to inquire about this option. Please note that you must qualify for a DSM 5 diagnosis in order for this option to apply.

No Surprises Act:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
